Our Journeys to Power Places: A Unique Evolution

What started as a spontaneous idea on New Year’s Eve has grown into a profound adventure.

Thirteen years ago, we simply wanted to do something fun in a warm place in Europe. We designed a training program and found a suitable location in southern France online. By chance, I had once read something about a special place in that region, but our knowledge went no further. Since it was cheaper than spending a week in Drenthe, we decided to go for it.

Only when we arrived in Saint-Colombe-sur-l’Hers, in the heart of Cathar country, did synchronicity start to unfold. We discovered that we were not just anywhere. Step by step, a hidden spiritual history of Europe revealed itself: Mary Magdalene, the Cathars, the Celts, King Arthur and Merlin, Avalon, extraterrestrial influences, and even the origins of humanity.

Year after year, we traveled from one power place to another. Each location taught us something new about Europe’s spiritual heritage. It was as if a treasure trove of forgotten knowledge lay along the western edge of Europe—an ancient wisdom that had largely been lost in the heart of the continent.

From Two-Dimensional to Five-Dimensional Consciousness

Through the evolution of human consciousness in Europe, we now understand better why this ancient knowledge faded into the background. The transition from two-dimensional consciousness (where emotions are dominant) to five-dimensional consciousness (where the heart is central) required several historical shifts.

One of the most significant shifts was the separation of masculine and feminine energy. This split allowed humanity to develop intellect at a high level, leading to progress in education, healthcare, technology, and communication. But there was a downside: the feminine force, with its deep connection to Mother Earth, magic, and the soul world, receded into the background. The outward-moving masculine force became dominant.

Power Places and Their Connection to the Present

During our travels, we noticed that old legends and stories often hold a deeper truth. The insights we gained helped us not only to understand history better but also to see how ancient energetic creations still influence the present. Some of these old creations could be closed and transformed, preventing them from endlessly repeating their effects.

At the power places where we worked, our connection with the spirits and guardians of these locations deepened. But, much like popular tourist sites, we noticed a kind of saturation—even these places had grown accustomed to spiritual seekers coming and going without truly contributing.

But that time is over.

The Birth of Retreaves

With the turning point of 2024, the moment has come to bring the ancient wisdom of these power places back into the foreground. Not only to honor them but also to reconnect them with the heart of Europe and transform their meaning into a five-dimensional consciousness.

This realization brought new energy to the guardians of these places. They understood why they had kept their knowledge hidden for so long—and now, the time is ripe to bring this wisdom back into the world.

This is where Retreaves comes in.

From the beginning of our journeys, we struggled with the term retreats. A retreat is often seen as a spiritual wellness experience, where you are cared for in a special place. That is valuable, but it is not what we do.

We searched for a name that truly reflects what our journeys mean: retrieving ancient wisdom and reconnecting it with the whole. Retreaves stands for traveling to power places, making connections, discovering what these locations have to tell us today, and bringing that knowledge back to the heart of Europe. The connection between the heart and these power places can flow in both directions once more, allowing them to contribute to the next step in our evolution.

Restoring Connections in Europe

Of course, this requires something not only from the power places but also from the heart of Europe itself. After all, what would these places connect to otherwise? Mother Earth has created various structures for this purpose, such as ley lines—and it is no coincidence that churches have been built on nearly all the key intersections.
